The crusher breaks the big sized gypsum blocks into small ones with
25mm in diameter. After storing and conveying, they are taken into the
mill for grinding. Then the powder concentrator carries the gypsum
powders which match to the need ed fineness to calciner for calcining.
Others are back to the mill until it is qualified. In the end, after
calcining the qualified gypsum powder are sent to clinker container
for storing, or are sent to the manufacturing workshops for using.

Sec. The introduction of Calciner
With development of the gypsum industry, the need of gypsum
powder is increasing in various fields.This is leads to our high
demand to the gypsum powder.Now the prodcution vraft of
the gypsum powder is also improving. During the production
and processing process, the drying and dehydration process
is the key point, and they are also difficult to master.
Due to this phenomenon,after long terms’ research,
we develop a new kind of dehydrated equipment-calciner
which can meet all the requiements for gypsum powder’s production.
1 The work principle of Calciner:
The work principle of the drying system: The calciner mainly consists
of intensive thermal coils which are narrow in diameter.. The hot oil
are put into thermal coils. After the exchanging of the heat,
the heat energy are related to the calciner. On the botto m,
there is a root blower.The cool wind blows into the calciner
by optimum of distributor in order to make the powders
become ebullient. In certain degree,the quality of the
powder which are dehydrated the cyrstal water is
becoming light, Thenthey will folow to the exit.
So the quality of the gypsum powder is stable.
And it is easy to contarol the quantity of the
crystakl water and the initial setting time. Moreover,
this equipment makes used of dry electrostatic dust
precipitator to dust. The rate of the sdusting can
reaach to at least 95%, so it eliminate the dust pollution.
2 Sample sturucture.
Since the material become liquid state, there is no need to equip the
revoling parts.So the structure of the calciner is much simpler.It is
not only easy to manufacture,but also alkmost does not need to
maintain. Because of using the low temperature source,
it is impossible for calciner to burn out. So it is serviceable.
This structure of the calciner is multi-layer.The dust colloector is on the top of the calciner and connects with it. Then, they become a whole. This set is extremely compact.It is both space-saving and avoids the dust collector of coagulate.\
4 Low cost of energy.
The calciner costs little thermal and electric.For the heating aspect,
almost all the thermal energy which is passed from the heat resource
is efficiently used in the dehydration of the mateial.Only a little used
to heat the cool are which blows in from the bottom of calciner and
alittle loss for radiation.The heat efficiency of the calciner is above
95%. Of course, the thermal energy used by calciner is processed
energy.The final heat efficienty is equial to the heat efficiency
multiplies the heat effieiency of the boiler.
The technology of the hot oil boiler is extremely perfect,
and its heat efficiency is relatively high. The heat efficiency of the
hot oil can reach to 70%-80% ( Our company uses the hot oil boiler
of organic heat carrier). So the total heat efficiency of calciner is also high.
If we use the hot oil, the rate is 67-76%. Although the conmmon
outcalcineris centralized calcined equipments use the natural energy,
the heat efficiency is just less than 50%. In our company, for the
gyspum use the which is used in the architecture, the quota of the
heat consuming of the calciner is 7.7*105MJ/t. For the electric
energy, the calciner needn’t revolve, and there is no mixer.
The materials changes to liquid state mainly depend on the steam
which is produced by dehydration. The air which blows into the
calciner from the bottom is also limit. It makes the efficiency of
air-blower extremely low. So the electric energy consume of the
calciner is much less than the traditional calcined equipments.
5 High quality,the content of the hemigydrate is ideal;
the physical property is stable.
Because of using the low temperature heat source, the gypsum is
in order to reach the demand of production, our company studies out
a set of calciner equipment.The main stuff is qualified steel, such as
the thermal coil is made of seamless tube chamfer (GB3087-82); The sheet steel of the boiler is carbon steel and low alloy steel
plates(GB713-86).All the steel style shelves conform to the GB.
Moreover, in the process of welding, in order to guarantee the quality of
welding, all the workers have the thermal coil. If the water pressure
is 0.5-0.6Mpa, and last for half an hour without the leaking of the
water. Then we can say this product is qualified.
6 The system of electrical control.
At present, the electrical control system is using the advanced DCS
control system. It also takes some PLC technologies from San Ling(Japan),and concentrate controls the equipment which are separated
from each other.According to the demands of control, PLC of
San Ling uses industrial control computer and industrial control
configuration software as the key parts of alarm,watching and
electrical control. It controls each separate equipment logically
according to the demands of the craft. Regard to input communication
module, it also conveys the electric current, temperature and wind to
the epigyny computer hypogyny. After analyzing these parameters
which are sent by the epigyny computer hypogyny, it will indicate
the phenomenon of over current,overload,etc and set out of the
alarm.The communication module conveys the signal of simulation to
the epigyny computer hypogynym,such as the oil temperature,
the quantity of the wind, and the working process of the
whole production line.According to the crystal water’s
content of the powder, we could regulate the calciner’s
input of the powder at the epigyny computer hypogyny. When the content
of the crystal water is high, the frequency of the feeding reamer converter is reduced.
Otherwise,if the content of the crystal is low, the result is opposite.
Input module collects the electric current data of some high efficiency
equipment,such as crushers,column mills,exhaust fans,etc. to the PLC.
Through the data changing between PLC and the epigyny computer hypogyny,
we can watch the electric currents of the above equipment from the epigyny computer hypogyny.
If it is in the condition of overload,shortcut and so on. The alarm will flicker and delay the stopping time.
The configuration software of the epigyny computer hypogyny has the function of forming and reporting statistics. So it can show us the data,state,etc.In the process of production,and record them.It can not only reflect the present condition of production line,but also can analyze the production process. It is easy for workers to master and analyze the condition of production and to make,analyze and print the present and historical forms of reporting statistics.
In the hopper, there is a sensor for the position of material.Then the sensor sent the signal of the position of the material to PLC.When the position is not proper, PLC can send out alarm to workers who are on duty.
